WiNGS Planner® is a powerful software tool for planning of
point-to-point and point-to-multipoint wireless networks. Fully developed for
Microsoft Windows, very user-friendly and comprehensive, it is the ideal tool
for supporting your planning teams along the life-cycle of your network or
system, from the first stage of project conception, all along its expansion and
optimization phases.
 Through the use of terrain and building height maps, which
resolution can be chosen according to your system design requirements, WiNGS
Planner® provides you the ability to plot your own stations directly on the
map, choosing the best location based on all the information regarding the
topology and morphology of the terrain. Editing your input parameters is very
easy, allowing all sensitivity analysis related to changing site locations,
varying antenna heights, installing new towers, etc.
Path clearance calculations, path profile and interference
in/from other radio links in the vicinity are provided. For the Brazilian
environment, interference is analyzed automatically, using directly the data
base from the Brazilian Regulatory Agency – ANATEL.
